Kiki Osinbajo, Vice President Osinbajo’s daughter, has denied the allegation that she owns the property housing her business in Abuja, said to be worth N800million. The alleged property was said to have been bought with funds from the recovered loots Mr Ibrahim Magu allegedly gave to her father.
Kiki Osinbajo reacting to the allegation, on Friday 10 July 2020, took to her social media account to make a post making clarification on the said property housing her business. She said:
“For me, it is completely UNBELIEVABLE that a grown man will sit in his home and LIE about me, a grown man who possibly has children my age!,” she started.
Kiki continued by asking why anybody would question her success as a business person, and as a young woman going about her legitimate business, where she added that:
“Like many young women in Nigeria, I work hard, It may be difficult for people like him to understand that a young woman can work hard and succeed on her own steam,” she said.
She also made a clarification on the location and ownership of the said property and urged anyone in doubt to verify. She added that:
“ANYONE can verify the ownership of the property of Glamd Africa at Agis in Abuja. I am a tenant in that property. My landlord’s name is Mr MUSA ADAMS,” she said.
The name of Osinbajo’s daughter came up, when the said Jackson Ude took to his social media asking her to explain to Nigerians how she earned the alleged N800million she invested in her business.
Mr Ude had on Friday alleged that she used the money (N800million) to acquire the property housing her business, he described as: “Glam’d Africa Beauty House located at number 10 Durban Street, Wuse 2, Abuja”.
Recall, that we reported that Vice President Osinbajo, has ordered the Inspector General of Police has ordered the arrest of Jackson Ude for criminal defamation.
Mr Ude had reported on his personal social media handles and websites, where he alleged that the embattled former Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Mr Ibrahim Magu, allegedly embezzled over N39billion and gave Vice President Yemi Osinbajo the sum of N4billion.
He alleged that the Vice President was given the said amount after he allegedly gave Mr Magu instructions to release some of the recovered loots.
Vice President Osinbajo has since denied the allegation, as we wait for the next move from the Presidency on this and what Mr Magu’s investigation might reveal.
