The Ondo State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the robbery incident that occurred at a filling station where an attendant was shot dead.
The fuel station, located along Oba-Ile Road in Akure, the Ondo State capital, was attacked on Tuesday night.
The identity of the victim could not be ascertained when the incident occurred late yesterday.
Spokesman of the state Police Command, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro confirming the filling station incident, said the two persons had been apprehended immediately after the incident.
Mr Ikoro noted that Ondo State will not be a hiding place for criminals, stressing that the command is ready to do everything possible to ensure the protection of lives and property.
