Former Super Eagles of Nigeria star, Daniel Amokachi has taken to his Instagram page to put up a photo of his beautiful daughter Raya, celebrating her on her graduation.
Daniel Amokachi who did not say whether his 16-year-old daughter Raya graduated from college, posted a series of photos to celebrate her and her achievement, with these words as a caption to the photos:
“Graduation Day For My Achichi, Daddy Is Very Proud Of U #Oulu #Finland🇫🇮@rayaamo14#KEEPINGITREAL” he said.
47-year-old Everton legend, who was recently appointed as Nigeria Football Ambassador by President Muhammadu Buhari in recognition of his dedication and for putting Nigeria on the global football map, could not hide his joy as his little Princess becomes a graduate.
Raya Amokachi is the third child of Daniel and Nadia Amokachi, after their twins. The couple got married in 1995 and are blessed with three lovely children.
The Amokachi clan were first blessed with two sets of boys twins, Kalim and Nazim Amokachi 23-years ago, before Raya Amokachi who recently celebrated her 16th year birthday.
The statement released by the Presidency in appointing Daniel Amokachi as Ambassador, which was made public by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, noted that the role would be a ceremonial one as he would also assist to scout for players for the country.
Amokachi was part of the Nigerian team that won the Olympic gold medal in 1996. The statement by the Presidency on the appointment read:
“In addition to his football exploits in Europe, particularly in England where he won the FA Cup with Everton in 1995, Amokachi after retirement has managed Nasarawa United and Enyimba Football Club of Aba.
“As Nigeria’s Football Ambassador – a largely ceremonial role – Amokachi will assist the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to scout for talents, be part of processes to revive the country’s football development, as well as mentor young sportsmen and women,” the statement had said.
