Queen Elizabeth shares a lovely birthday message to celebrate Meghan and Prince Harry’s son, Prince Archie as he marks his first birthday today.

Prince William and his wife Kate also shared a sweet birthday message to celebrate Prince Archie on his day, even with all the drama in the Royal family.

Prince Archie, turns one today May 6th 2020, as he received a lovely birthday message from his great-grandma, Queen Elizabeth II, who took to the official social media handles of the Royal family to celebrate the young Prince.

Sharing a photo on the day Prince Archie was first introduced to the Royal family and the world, the Royal family on behalf of the Queen, captioned the photo saying:

“Happy Birthday to Archie Mountbatten-Windsor who is celebrating his first birthday today,” the message read, along with a balloon emoji. “Archie is the Queen’s eighth great-grandchild.”

Fans were wondering if the Queen would publicly recognize Archie’s birthday following Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down as seniors of the Royal Family earlier this year.

The couple decided in January and were officially relieved of their senior royal duties as of March. After announcing their decision, Meghan and Harry re-located to Canada, and have since moved to Los Angeles, where they’ve been living with Archie during the coronavirus quarantine.
