COVID-19: NCDC Reports 443 New Cases As Total Now 45,687

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 91 new cases of the coronavirus in Nigeria, as total confirmed cases jumps to 873, from 782 just last night.

The NCDC in their daily update on the fight against the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria, took to their official Twitter handle to announce that 91 new cases of coronavirus infected patients were confirmed on Wednesday 22nd April 2020, as total figure jumps to 873. 

The distribution of the 91 new cases as reported by the NCDC across some states in Nigeria, shows that 74 of the new cases were reported in Lagos, five in Katsina, four in Ogun, two in Delta, two in Edo, one in Kwara, one in Oyo, one in FCT, one in Adamawa:

According to the NCDC, as at 11:25 pm Wednesday 22nd April, there are 873 confirmed cases of COVID19 reported in Nigeria, with total discharged cases of 197, and recorded deaths as at this date, put at 28.
