COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria Hits 305 With 17 New Cases

The confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria has hit 305, as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday 10th April 2020, confirmed seventeen new cases of the virus across some States in the country.

The latest confirmed seventeen COVID-19 cases as released by NCDC, are eight in Lagos, two in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), three in Kastina, one in Niger, one in Kaduna, one in Anambra and one in Ondo

These figures brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 Cases to 305, with 58 previously positive patients discharged, and seven deaths recorded as at Friday 10th April 2020.

According to NCDC, “Three cases previously included as Lagos state cases have been transferred to Ogun state. The three cases live in satellite towns in Ogun close to Lagos.

Therefore, Lagos State has reported 163 confirmed cases while Ogun State has reported 7 confirmed cases”

The likes of Anambra and Nigeria and possibly Ondo recorded their first COVID-19 cases for the first time since the outbreak in the country.

As at 09:30 pm 10th April there are 305 confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Nigeria. 58 have been discharged with 7 deaths
