The actor who played Tormund Giantsbane in the popular TV series, Game of Thrones, Kristofer Hivju, has confirmed that he has been tested positive to the novel coronavirus.
Kristofer Hivju announced via his social media page, where she shared a photo of himself and wife in their home in Norway self-isolating.
“Greetings from Norway! Sorry to say that I, today, have tested positive for COVID19, Coronavirus.
My family and I are self-isolating at home for as long as it takes. We are in good health – I only have mild symptoms of a cold,” Kristofer Hivju wrote in the caption of his post.
Hivju, 41, reassured fans that he will be alright but cautioned them about possibility of the virus spreading to higher-risk individuals.
He ended his message by advising his fans to head the instructions of reputable health organizations.
“Together we can fight this virus and avert a crisis at our hospitals. Please take care of each other, keep your distance, and stay healthy!
