Pop Smoke: Fans Pay Respect As Casket Rolled Through Brooklyn

Fans in their numbers and mostly youths, on Thursday 5th March 2020, gathered in Brooklyn, New York the hometown of Pop Smoke to pay their last respect to the rapper who was shot and killed in a targeted hit inside an apartment. 

One of those who attended the procession of Pop Smoke was his mentor, 50cent who drove in his Lamborghini alongside the late rapper’s casket which rolled through the streets in a horse-drawn carriage.

The video shared online showed a brown casket inside a white horse-drawn carriage with his name ‘Pop Smoke’ written on it, as a huge crowd gathered to pay their respect at his hometown in Brooklyn. 

The police (NYPD) were also on ground to make sure nothing unusual happens, and also to control the crowd as seen in the video shared online. 

 Fans of the rapper walked with the group of luxury cars as they made their way to the funeral.

Pop Smoke’s family held a private ceremony for just family and friends, and this procession was for him to be laid to rest in the Brooklyn cemetery.

Pop Smoke who was only 20, was shot and killed by yet to be identified gunmen, as reports have it that his death was a targeted hit, and Police are finding it difficult to get an eye witness, despite the evidence of surveillance video showing movement of the alleged killers around the house where he was killed.

The police are still investigating, even though it is taking too much time, and fans and family are waiting for justice to be served on those that might have been responsible.
