The LA County Sheriffs Deputies who shared the Kobe’s crash photos, have been reported to have been exposed by a bartender.
According to the report obtained from TMZ, the Law enforcement sources who spoke to TMZ, said L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies who responded to the crash scene took photos that included remains.
One of the deputies, a trainee took Kobe’s crash photos and at some point went to a bar and, as one source put it, “He tried to impress a girl by showing her the Kobe’s crash photos.”, and the bartender overheard the conversation and filed an online complaint with the Sheriff’s Department, the TMZ report added.
The report also added that the cell phone photos were passed around at the Lost Hills Sheriff’s substation, the first responders to the crash. Sources say deputies from other substations around L.A. County also took cell phone photos.
It was also reported that the Sheriff’s Department has known about this for 3 weeks. The trainee who showed Kobe’s crash photos to a woman in a bar did so a few days after the crash.
Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputies have shared photos of the crash scene where Kobe Bryant, his daughter, Gigi, and 7 others lost their lives.
The Sheriff’s Department contacted families of all of the victims Wednesday an official told The L.A Times the reason for contacting them was not because of the allegation but rather because there was a media inquire over the allegation.
The Sheriff’s Department would only say, “The matter is being looked into.” the TMZ report added.
This latest image comes a few weeks after the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) released images of the Kobe Bryant’s helicopter disappearing into the clouds, before crashing into a hillside.
The images released then were photos of Kobe Bryant’s helicopter in the air and the crash impact and not of the dead victims from the crash. This was deliberate, out of respect to the families of their loved ones and respect to those who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.
The heartbreaking photo which was taken from a security camera, showed the helicopter disappearing into thick fog, which was the final photo before the crash. A witness then shared a photo with the agency of the ball of fire that erupted when the Kobe Bryant’s helicopter crashed into a hillside in Calabasas.
Kobe, Gianna, six others and the pilot Ara Zobayan, 50, were en route from Orange County to Kobe’s Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, CA for Gianna’s basketball tournament at the time the chopper went down.
Their cause of deaths have been determined to have been from blunt force trauma from the crash, by the LA County Coroner’s Office. The manner of their sudden and tragic deaths was listed as an “accident.”
Since this news broke, there has been no words from the families of those involved in the crash, especially that of Kobe Bryant. I have the feeling that if those behind it are not properly investigated and charged accordingly, Mrs Vanessa Bryant could make a move to make sure that happens, just as she is already doing to the crashed helicopter company.
