LeBron James has revealed what most people think is a fresh Mamba tattoo to honour his late friend, and NBA Legend, Kobe Bryan.
LeBron James who like others, had shared a tribute to Kobe Bryant on hearing the sad news of his death in a helicopter crash on Sunday,. But he is taking it a step further by inking a Mamba Tattoo to keep the memory of his big brother alive and always with him.
The Mamba Tattoo which was Kobe Bryant’s nickname was spotted on Thursday in Lakers El Segundo, CA training facility inked on LeBron James’s left thigh. It also had “Kobe 4 Life,” written below it, and covered with plastic.
The death of Kobe Bryant was reported on Sunday, where it was reported that the Los Angeles Lakers legend and his daughter Gianna and seven others were on board a helicopter that crashed into a Calabasas hillside.
They had been on their way from Orange County to Thousand Oaks, CA. That’s where Kobe’s Mamba Sports Academy is located, and Gigi had a noon basketball tournament game.
LeBron James was devastated on hearing the sad news, as he posted this message on his Instagram page to mourn the Black Mamba.
He wrote, “I’m Not Ready but here I go. Man, I sitting here trying to write something for this post but every time I try I begin crying again just thinking about you, niece Gigi and the friendship/bond/brotherhood we had!”
He continued, “I literally just heard your voice Sunday morning before I left Philly to head back to LA. Didn’t think for one bit in a million years that would be the last conversation we’d have. WTF!! I’m heartbroken and devastated my brother!! 😢😢😢😢💔. Man I love you big bro.
