Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi has completed his move from Turkish club, Trabzonspor to another Turkish side, Denizlispor, making him yet another Nigerian to be making a move in this January transfer market.

The 27-year-old Ogenyi Onazi who joined his former club Trabzonspor in 2016 from Italian side Lazio, joined Denizlispor on a free transfer.

He took to his Instagram Page on Wednesday 15th January 2020 to share a series of photos from his official signing by Denizlispor officials, with this caption to celebrate his latest move. He captioned the photos with these words:

“The year started with BLESSING.. 🟢⚫️
Denizli I am here.. let’s make the difference.
I can’t wait for my first game.. ⚽️ ”

Before announcing his move to Denizlispor, the 5’8 tall central midfielder who first came into football limelight in 2009 during the U-17 days playing for Nigeria, had made a post saying his goodbyes to the fans of his now former club, Trabzonspor where he seems to be a cult hero. He made the post saying:

My gratitude and loyalty goes to the wonderful fans of this great club Trabzonspor, i will never forget the love, respect and passion you guys have shown me from day one, I already have a special place in my heart for each and every one of you.. I wish you all happiness because you all deserve to be happy.. and good luck for the rest of the season.. 🔴🔵” he said.
