Hollywood actor, Rotimi and Tanzanian singer, Vanessa Mdee are officially in a relationship, as the celebrities finally confirmed the rumour of them dating, sharing a photo taken from a date night on Monday.
The two who have been teasing their followers on many occasions on their separate Instagram handles about their relationship, and while fans were guessing they could be dating, the two hit the Instagram on Monday night to officially let the whole world know they are in a relationship.
Venessa Mdee who revealed in a recent interview with Millard that she met Rotimi who is also a singer through a friend at the Essence Festival after-party in the US, where the singer was invited to perform. She said within two days of meeting him, she knew he was her husband.
“It took me just two days for me to know that he was my husband,” she said. “You know when you are in love with somebody. Yes, I’m in love with him,” she said.
“it felt like we had known each other for years.”
She adds: I am not a young girl, so I know what it feels like when you meet someone who you will stay with for life”.
Before this, the two love birds have always commented on each others Instagram posts, with Rotimi doing more of that, while Vanessa Mdee teases her followers of the rare opportunity of meeting and dating one the Hollywood’s superstars.
She even shared a photo of her supporting him at the studio with the shooting of the 1988 sequel, ‘Coming 2 America’.
While some fans have kicked against the relationship, as he is alleged to have impregnated a lady and asked her to terminate the pregnancy as he was not ready, many have congratulated the two calling them the ideal couple, with both Nigerian and Tanzania fans trolling themselves on ‘bride prize’ and who is the lucky one.
…also, Rotimi seems ready, as he already built and moved into his own house, as the possibility of them ending up as husband and wife in the nearest future, is very high.
