The Swedish lawyer Henrik Olssen Lilja who was the lawyer to American rapper A$AP Rocky during his trails in Sweden, was reportedly shot in the and chest on Friday morning in Stockholm. He has since been admitted into a hospital by the police.
According to Forbes, police are investigating the shooting of Henrik Olssen Lilja as they are treating the matter as an isolated incident and ‘several people’ have been arrested for questioning.
In a statement on The Swedish Police Authority website about the Henrik Olssen Lilja shooting, the police said:
‘The police have arrested several people for questioning. The investigation is at an intense stage and the police are working on several different fronts to make progress.’
A spokesperson from the Prosecutor’s Office has also confirmed to Expressen a female lawyer was among those arrested. Eyewitnesses have claimed Henrik was involved in a physical altercation in the stairwell of his workplace before gunshots were fired.
Henrik was conscious when police were contacted, but his current condition is unknown. The lawyer represented A$AP Rocky after he was first taken into custody in Sweden in July over assault, and was later replaced as the rapper’s lawyer before the trial.
A$AP Rocky was found guilty of assault last month over the incident and was given a suspended sentence.
