Cassie debuts her first baby bump in an Avante Garde photoshoot after a few days of announcing that Alex and herself are expecting their first child together.
The Ex-girlfriend to Puff Daddy, Cassie debuts the glorious maternity shoot by the ocean where she was photographed sitting cross-legged with the ocean waves at her back. She wore a simple bikini bottom with her long black tendrils draped over her chest.
Cassie who also is marking her birthday today, 26th August, decided to share the day with her unborn child by the sea side. She is clearly counting down to her due date. She also cannot get over the fact that she is about becoming a mother for the first time, as, since her announcement, she has been updating her followers about her expectations and all that she has gone through getting to her present state.
Cassie whose love story has inspired a lot of people, a few days ago shared a post on her Instagram page where she revealed that this year is her most transformative one yet and not just because she’s about to be a mother, but also because of her decision to take charge of her life (clearly referring to her previous relationship with Puff Daddy). She said:
“This past year has been such a transformative year for me, I honestly can’t imagine what’s to come as I continue to become even more comfortable in my own skin. Building routine and structure for myself was really key for my growth. In that I found the ground that I was always meant to be standing on. Living in truth. Living in health. Living in love.
This year for me was about balance and taking my power back where I had given it away too freely. I tend to want to please everyone and I’m hard on myself when I fail at it, so the power of saying no and owning it was a life changer.
The power of letting go of things not meant for me or things that weren’t deserving of my heart and time were as well.
If you’re anything like me, your journey and every step (especially looking back) feels like a movie, but once you really take on the responsibility of being present and writing it, really beautiful things begin to happen. Today I am so thankful and I just wanted to share that” she had said.
