EFCC Arrests 10 Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Delta State

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has once again, arrested some suspected internet fraudsters, and this time it was in Delta State.

According to the statement made available by the anti-graft commission on Friday 23rd, 2019, stated that it was the end of the road for 10 suspected internet fraudsters on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, when operatives of the commission from the Benin Zonal office burst their hideout in an early morning operation in Sapele, Delta State.

The arrest of the 10 suspected internet fraudsters as stated by the commission, was triggered by intelligence received by the Commission. The suspects are Abuwa Marvis, Ikpasa Efe, Abraham Idade, Maye Edefeose, Ovie Akpojevuehe and Akpotor Okeoghene. Others are Abuwa Jeffery, Ehirouture Precious, Best Lucky and Lucky Desmond.

The Commission listed some items recovered from them as include laptop computers, mobile phones, flash drives, internet modems and charms (voodoo). The Commission also recovered a Toyota Venza from one of the suspects.

The suspects have made useful statements and will be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.
