Nigerian Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola redeems his pledge of $25000 per goal to the Super Eagles of Nigeria during the Semi-Final match against Algeria in the just concluded 2019 African Nations Cup in Egypt.

Femi Otedola who received representatives from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Super Eagles representative, in the person of Kenneth Omeruo in his office on Tuesday, had together with his friend and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote promised a total of $75,000 per goal, with Dangote pledging the sum of $50,000 for every goal scored by the Super Eagles, Femi Otedola promised to pay $25,000 per goal during their Semi-Final match against Algeria.

Although the Super Eagles lost that game 2-1, they were only able to score just one goal, which was from Odion Ighalo and was a penalty kick after Algeria went one goal up. The North African team went ahead to win the competition after beating yet another West African team in Senegal.

Femi Otedola keeping to his promise, on Tuesday took to his Instagram page to announced that he has redeemed his pledge, with this caption:

Integrity is keeping your word. I redeemed my pledge of $25000 per goal to representatives of the Super Eagles (L-R) Chidi Ngoka (Equipment Manager), Enebi Achor (Team Manager) and Defender Kenneth Omeruo today in my office ⚽️ …F.Ote💲” he said.
