Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi has a few hours ago, confirmed his signing by English Championship side, West Brom after a fantastic season with Rotherham United.
Semi Ajayi who missed the final cut to make the Super Eagles squad for the just concluded AFCON 2019 in Egypt, took to his Instagram account on Sunday to share the good news with fans on his latest career move.
The Arsenal academy product, signed four years with the Baggies for an undisclosed fee, and already made his debut for the club that formerly had the likes of Nwankwo Kanu and Osaze as their players.
Speaking on his new challenge, Semi Ajayi who is grateful for the new opportunity, said:
“It’s a great opportunity for me,” he said. “I want to play at the highest level and I have joined a club with the ambition to get there.
“I want to play my part in helping the team get promoted because that is definitely the target.”
