Former United States Supreme Court Justice and one of the oldest John Paul Stevens has died on Tuesday at the age of 99
According to the statement by Supreme court, John Paul Stevens was reported to have died from complication of stroke he suffered a day before at a hospital in Fort Lauderdale.
He retired in 2010 at the age of 90, Justice Stevens was the second-oldest and the second-longest-serving justice ever to sit on the court. Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. was about eight months older when he retired in 1932, and William O. Douglas had served 36 years (1939-75).
