English Premier League side, Arsenal have expressed their disappointment towards their captain, and French International, Laurent Koscielny for his refusal to travel with other team members for the club’s pre-season tour in the United States of America.
Although the club did not state the reasons behind their captain’s decision not to travel with them to the United States, if it was due to a breakdown in contract talks, or rumour linking him to a move away from the 2018/2019 Europa League runners up. But the club has made it clear in an official statement released a few hours ago, that such behaviour was alien to the club, and will not be tolerated.
The statement reads:
“Laurent Koscielny has refused to travel to the US for our pre-season tour.
We are very disappointed by Laurent’s actions, which are against our clear instructions.
We hope to resolve this matter and will not be providing any further comment at this time.”
The French man is yet to state his own side of the latest drama at the Emirate club, as we promise to keep you updated…
