Governor Abiodun presents the newly appointed Secretary to the Ogun state Government Mr Olatokunbo Talabi and Cheif of Staff Alhaji Afolabi Salisu to the former Governor of Ogun state, and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State, Aremo Olusegun Osoba.
Governor Abiodun who had on Saturday 15th June 2019 announced the appointment of his SSG and Cheif of Staff, presented the new appointees to the man who is believed to be his political godfather, and leader of the APC Ogun State, Aremu Osoba
Chief Osoba after receiving the Governor and the two lucky men, gave everyone a piece of fatherly and profound advice as he wished the duo successes in their various responsibilities.
According to the profile statement released by the Governor on his latest appointment, Mr Olatokunbo Talabi who is the new SSG comes on board with a rich private sector background as a business development professional, banker and entrepreneur.
Mr Olatokunbo Talabi holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos. He also trained at the Citibank School of Banking, Long Island, New York.
Olatokunbo Talabi also has over 30-years management experience. He is also a boardroom guru, chairing 6 (six) corporate bodies and serving on the board of 7 (seven) other institutions, including those of Bitflux Communications, Olabisi Onabanjo University Development Foundation, ATCO Limited, Fate Foundation and the City of Knowledge Academy. He is an affiliate of several professional associations, among which are National Association of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (NASME), Chartered Institute of Professional Printers of Nigeria (CIPPON) and the Entrepreneurship Development Centre of the Lagos Business School.
Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Salisu, the new Chief of Staff is award-winning information and communications expert and accomplished administrator. He has previously served in the cabinet of my predecessor as deputy (and later acting) Chief of Staff between 2011 and 2014.
He holds a second class (upper) degree in Computer Science of the University of Lagos; from where he also got two masters degrees – an MBA in 2003 and MSc in Computer Science in 2012.
Alhaji Salisu has diverse and extensive knowledge of the corporate world, public service and not-for-profit organisations.
