The Lagos State Police Response Squad (RRS) has a few hours ago, reported yet another building collapse in the Magodo area of Lagos State, as three people are reportedly trapped in the rubble of the said building which seems to be under construction.
The identities of those trapped were not given as at the time of this report, as the statement released by the RRS said the injured have been taken to hospital. The statement reads:
“A storey building under construction has collapsed in Kayode Aluko Olokun Close, Shangisha, Magodo.
3 people trapped in the collapsed building have been rescued and taken to the hospital. #TheGoodGuys”
Aside from the three people reportedly trapped in the rubble of the collapsed building, no one else was believed to be trapped, and no death reported, but the RRS and the Lagos State emergency teams are continuing their search and rescue operations, and further details will be given once they are done.
