The Nigerian Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki mourns the death of the mother of the Emir of Ilorin, Princess Aishat Nma Sulukarnaini Gambari.
Senator Saraki mourns her passing, as he released a statement on Tuesday, sending his condolences to the Ilorin Emirates and the entire people of Kwara and her family. This was the statement put out by Senator Bukola Saraki:
“My heartfelt prayers are with the family of the Emir of Ilorin, HRH Alh. (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, the Ilorin Emirate and all Kwarans, over the passing of the mother of the Emir of Ilorin, Princess Aishat Nma Sulukarnaini Gambari.
As we all mourn her loss, we pray that Almighty Allah (SWT), in his infinite mercies and grace, grants her soul a place amongst the righteous ones in Aljannah Firdaus and gives our dear Emir and all her family the peace and strength that is needed at this time. Amin.”
