The Governor of Oyo State, Governor Seyi Makinde on Wednesday shared some photos of the first family of Oyo State, from his inauguration party, showing his wife, and his lovely children.
Seyi Makinde who is of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) took over as the Governor of Oyo State on Wednesday, May 29th from the former Governor, Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi, as he looks to reposition the state.
Mr Seyi Makinde emerged winner of the 2019 governorship election in Oyo state, after scoring 515,621 votes to defeat his closest rival, Mr Adebayo Adelabu of the All Progressives Congress(APC) who garnered 357,982 votes.
The 2019 election, was not the first time Seyi Makinde will be contesting to become the Governor of Oyo State, but his victory this time around, was that which no one saw coming, as even Senator Ajimobi the alleged political godfather to Mr Adelabu, still cannot explain what happened during the election, as he thought he already have the Governorship election in the bag!
