Wesley Safadão has penned an emotional tribute to his friend and fellow musician, Gabriel Diniz who died on Monday in a plane crash. The Popstar whose death has thrown the entire Brazil and Latin America into mourning, was reported to be flying to meet up with his girlfriend for her birthday celebration, when the small plane he was in crashed almost immediately after takeoff. This happened in Porto do Mato in Estancia, Brazil.
Wesley Safadão who is one of the biggest Popstar in Latin America, and a good friend to late Gabriel Diniz, since the sad news of his death, has been mourning, posting photos and messages on his Instagram page to honour his good friend.
This was the first tribute Wesley Safadão posted on his page on hearing the sad news of Gabriel Diniz demise:
“This is how we will always remember GD. Your smile, your joy and your special way of being.
At this very difficult moment for all of us, I ask for prayers that God will comfort the hearts of Gabriel’s relatives and crew.
Since it is difficult to write this, I lost a friend of many years, a brother, a guy I followed closely. I have seen how to grow as a person and professional, and come true. Always cheerful, he did not have bad weather. He liked being different, he managed to become an artist with a lot of personalities. He was reaching all his goals and running after his dreams. So young and talented, he was having an incredible time in his career. With much effort and work, he made his music known throughout Brazil.
Difficult times like this make us reflect on how fragile life is, how much we are truly making every day worthwhile, so “Love TODAY, Forgive TODAY, Celebrate people TODAY, Be thankful TODAY …” Let’s live the that really matters, nobody knows tomorrow.

Following up with the previous message, on Tuesday he dropped yet another tribute, to celebrate the life well spent by Gabriel Diniz, even though he died at just age 28. Wesley Safadão said:
