Popular Lagos City Bus, Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) catches fire on the ever busy Third Mainland Bridge on Wednesday morning, as passengers scamper for safety.
According to the information released by the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency, via its Twitter handle confirming the early morning incident, said the fire started around 9:30 a.m on Wednesday morning. The bus was reported to have been heading towards Iyana-Oworo when it caught fire just after Adeniji Adele axis of the Third Mainland Bridge.
No casualty reported as at the time of filing this report, but the Lagos State Fire Service with their prompt response were able to successfully put out the fire.
The Lagos Transport Management Agency are now preparing to evacuate the burnt Bus to manage the busy traffic on the Third Mainland Bridge.
