Jennifer Lopez settles her Instagram lawsuit with a photographer who had accused her of allegedly ripping him off his work as an IG story in 2018.
According to a media report, both Michael Stewart and Jennifer Lopez settle their disagreement about the photo, as they both asked their representatives to dismiss the case.
Jennifer Lopez before now, somehow knew she was going to get the case dismissed after she had alleged that she was not properly served by Stewart. She asked the Court to dismiss the case, and surprisingly, Stewart also agreed to that, and the case was dismissed.
The deal to bring an end to the case comes days after Lopez moved to dismiss the case after accusing Stewart of improperly serving her with the lawsuit.
The lawsuit started when Michael Stewart sued Jennifer Lopez, saying he took a photo of her walking through New York City. The photographer claims he licensed the photo to the Daily Mail, who ran it in an article on their website on June 29, 2018.
Stewart alleged that Jennifer Lopez then used the photo on her Instagram, without his permission. He claims to be the author of the photograph and even registered it with the United States Copyright Office.
Thankfully the issue has been resolved, and hopefully, that will be the last of the story.
