The Executive Chairman of Warri South Local Government, of Delta State, Dr Tidi Michael has reassured workers of Warri South Local Government Council that their welfare is paramount to his administration, as he promised to continually implement policies that will improve the working environment.
Dr Tidi who gave the assurance on Tuesday April 30 2019, in his Workers’ Day brief, challenged staffers of Warri South Council on the need to be more inventive in the task of shoring up internally generated revenue of the council, so as to enable his administration meet its obligation to both workers and people of Warri South Local Government Area.
According to the Warri South Council Boss, implementation of the much anticipated new minimum wage will require the collective efforts of all stakeholders, especially against the backdrop of volatility in the price of crude oil at the International Market vis-a-vis its impact on monthly allocations from the federation account.
Dr Tidi Michael also wished all Warri South Local Government Workers and the entire people of Warri South Local Government Areas, a happy May Day celebration.
