Russell Simmons has refuted the claims by Jane Doe that he fled the United States of America to Indonesia to avoid facing the alleged multiple sexual assault charges brought against him. Russell who refuted the claims through his assistant, said he is not running away as being alleged by Jane Doe.
Russell Simmons said he plains returning soon to the United States of America, in a statement released a few hours ago. The statement reads:
“The anonymous accuser’s assertion that Mr Simmons is hiding out in Bali, a country that does not have an extradition treaty with the United States, is false, as are her other accusations against Mr Simmons, which she claims took place 31 years ago.”
The statement continued with: “The accusation that Mr Simmons has travelled to Bali many times over the years, but in the midst of multiple accusations last year, has not yet returned is also false.”
“The fact is Mr Russell Simmons has been in and out of the United States six times in the last year and will be back for his child’s graduation.”
Russell Simmons has denied all of the allegations made by his accusers but has claimed to be on a journey of enlightenment in Indonesia. He’s also been continuing his studies in yoga.
The Jane Doe who sued Simmons has not identified herself, but his spokesperson claims to know who she is, and says, “The accuser, who has been convicted of a crime, is hoping to hit the lottery in this case, asking at least $10 million based on these false allegations.”
Simmons who has posted this photo on his Instagram a few days ago in far away in Indonesia where he has gone to for spiritual meditation captioned the photo with these words:
