Ex-Super Eagles of Nigeria Striker, Osaze Odemwingie a few hours ago, shows off the FIFA Women’s World Cup trophy which some FIFA officials and the striker brought to Nigeria on Thursday.
Osaze Odemwingie who a few days ago retired from football, is the FIFA ambassador/Legend who escorted the World Cup trophy to Abuja Nigeria, where the City tour will commence.
The public viewing of the World Cup trophy has already begun, as after a special welcome at the Office of the Minister of Youth and Sports on Thursday, the FIFA team alongside Ministry and Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) officials will move to the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja for the public display of the trophy.
A total of 24 women national teams in the world will battle in nine cities in France between 7th June and 7th July 2019 for the trophy, as Nigeria will be looking to improve on their previous outings.
