Oba Elegushi who celebrated his birthday two days ago, has taken to his social media to thank Nigerians for all the love and best wishes he received during his birthday celebration.
Oba Elegushi who said he tried as much as possible to have a very quiet birthday celebration, but he was surprised to see the amount of love shown towards him, by Nigerians and he appreciates them for their kind words and prayers.
Taking to his Instagram, the Oba posted this to thank them, saying:
“I am honoured by your outpouring of love, good wishes, calls, gifts and all the felicitations with me on my birthday, yesterday. While I tried to have a quiet celebration, your goodwill and show of love made the day so special and I thank you very much for this. Almighty will honour you too”
Oba Saheed Elegushi of Ikate Land clocked 43 on April 10th, as the youngest Oba in Lagos took to his Instagram page, to not only share some lovely photos, but remember his late father. This was the message he put up to celebrate his birthday:
“To spend another birthday without you is very sad and I still cannot understand why you left so soon Kabiyesi. I’m very grateful for unforgettable moments that I lived right next to you. I would love to see you even it is for a moment just to give you a big hug and tell you personally how much I love you.
Beloved dad, you are always in my mind, heart and soul. Congratulations on your posthumous birthday dad. I’m also very grateful for another year and wishing myself a Happy Birthday!” He said
