The Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) a few hours ago, reported a mass transit bus popularly called BRT, on fire at Unilag Water-Front inward Iyana-Oworo that have caused traffic backlog to Adekunle area of Lagos.
No news on injuries reported, causes of fire, or whether there were passengers inside the mass transit bus before the fire at the Unilag WaterFront. But the emergency teams of the State Fire Service and other accident and safety teams have brought situation back to normal.
According to the statement released by LASTMA on the accident, their tweets read:“burnt out mass transit bus at Unilag Water-Front inward Iyana-Oworo causing traffic backlog to Adekunle has been cleared.
This impediment has been moved off the road. The backlog now, between Adeniji and Adekunle now flushing out.”
