Senator Bukola Saraki has commiserated with the family members, and Lagos State Government, over the death of Second Republic Senator, and elder statesman, Pa Fasinro.
Senator Bukola Saraki described the death of Pa Fasinro as a great loss to the entire nation.
He was popularly called HAB, a Senator in the Second Republic and the first Clerk of Lagos City Council. He passed on at exactly 8:29 pm on Sunday evening after a brief illness at 99.
He would have clocked 100 years by September this year
Senator Bukola Saraki’s statement he released a few hours ago, reads:
“The passing of Pa Hassan Adisa Babatunde Fasinro is a great loss to Nigeria. He was a highly respected administrator and politician who served the nation diligently as a Senator in the Second Republic alongside my late father, Oloye.
Pa Fasinro will be greatly missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time. It is my fervent prayer that Allah forgives his sins and grants him a place amongst the righteous ones in Aljannah Firdaus.”
