Chris Rock is definitely that one comedian you cannot tell what to do or not do, as he proves that once more at the just concluded NAACP Image Awards, where he rubbished Jussie Smollett, describing him as a ‘waste of light skin’.
Chris Rock who as usual, did not hold back when he ripped into the “Empire” star who was not present at the Sunday’s Award ceremony, as he came out to present an award saying:
“They said, ‘No Jussie Smollett jokes’ … What a waste of light skin,” Rock joked. “Do you know what I could do with that light skin? That curly hair? My career would be out of here! F**kin’ running Hollywood.”
The crowd enjoyed the joke, as Rock let the crowd calm down just a bit before continuing.
“What the hell was he thinking?” Rock said. “You’re ‘Jessie’ from now on. You don’t get the ‘u’ no more. That ‘u’ respected. You ain’t getting no respect from me!”
Jussie Smollett lost in his category, Best Supporting Actor, to Jesse Williams during an untelevised part of the show on Friday night.
