According to a news report, there has been a massive explosion around the popular Babs Animashaun area of Surulere in Lagos State, as properties worth hundreds of millions of naira are said to have been destroyed in the explosion, which happened a few hours ago.
Although the cause of the fire still unknown as no official statement have been released, but some eye witness reports are saying that the unfortunate incident at the Surulere area of Lagos State, was a gas explosion which started right inside a house around the Babs Animashaun an area very close to a Mechanic workshop, destroying properties around the area.
There is still no official statement as regarding the incident, as firefighters and Lagos State government agency are said to be at the scene.
