The Commissioner of Police in Kano State, CP Wakili is trending on social media right now, as Nigerians hailed the man who was reported to have ordered the arrest of Kano State Deputy Governor Dr Nasir Gawuna and Sule the Commissioner on Local Government Affairs for attempting to disrupt electoral process in the State.
According to our earlier report, CP Wakili and his men arrested the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Dr Nasir Gawuna and one Mr Sule who is a commissioner, in the early hours of Monday morning at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) collation centre where they tried to disrupt the electoral process and announcement of results that’s show PDP in clear lead.
The action of the Deputy Governor Nasir Gawuna and his boys led to a halt in the announcement of results at the centre as some youth suspected to be supporters of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) tried to attack the two officials on their attempt to stop the ongoing announcement of results at the collation centre..
Although INEC has announced the suspension of the process, Nigerians have taken to their Twitter handles to appreciate CP Wakili for his professionalism in the entire electoral process in the State, which most Nigerians feel is very rare to see, as they praise the man for his effort.

Please my good friend Bashir, mention him to the president. I have never seen a police officer so loved all my life. I heard he will be retiring in 2 months time. He must not be allowed to retire. Let him continue to serve our people in other capacity. CP Wakili, A true MVP!
