Bayern Munich and German defender, Jerome Boateng has been shown the exit door by German National team coach, Joachim Low, who called the 2014 World Cup winner too old to continue to be in the National team.
Jerome Boateng who broke the news a few hours ago on his social media, said he was sad to have been told by the coach that he was no longer needed in the team, as he plans to give younger players more opportunity to play for the National team.
The move by coach Joachim Low might have come as a surprise to Jerome Boateng, but not to fans who saw the abysmal performance of the German National team at the 2018 FIFA World cup in Russia, where the failed to defend their title in the worst competition ever for a German team.
Jerome Boateng who is still just 30, took to his page to say this:
