Mikel Obi’s immediate impact at Middlesbrough will not surprise many, as although this will be his first time at the English Championship level, his 12-plus years at Chelsea where he won virtually everything in English football and the UEFA Champions League would have given him some idea as to the demands of the Championship, which has more games and highly competitive just like the English Premier League itself.
