Popular singer, Mr 2kay has in a latest interview he granted to a radio station in Lagos while promoting his new song SADE, slammed his alleged Baby mama and ex-BBNaija housemate, Gifty labelling her a drama queen, while also saying that Burna Boy has called him to apologize to him on the Eko Hotel armed robbery incident.
Mr 2kay who was a guest at the popular Radio Station (CoolFM), which was the Morning show with Mannie and Temi TaymiB, opened up on his Baby mama drama with Gifty, and the paternity test on his alleged child Alisha. He also touched on his alleged beef with Burna Boy.
Although Mr 2kay was in Cool FM to promote his new single SADE, but the CoolFM presenters were not going to allow him to leave just like that without asking him questions. Those questions that have long being begging for answers.
He was sincere in his answers, and sounded really confident when he was speaking on both Gifty and Burna Boy, when questions were thrown at him by Mannie.
On his beef with Burna Boy, where it was alleged the Ye crooner arranged for some boys to beat him up after some misunderstanding.
Mr 2kay responding to the question, saying when the Eko Hotel incident happened, he initially was suspecting Burna Boy, but when Burna Boy called him to apologize, and telling him he has nothing to do with it, that it was his manager, he forgave him instantly.
When Mannie asked him why was Burna Boy calling to apologize when he already said he was not behind the attack on him.
Mr 2Kay who initially was trying to shy away from answering the question, said the case is two years ago now and he cannot remember everything. He said he was robbed at Eko hotel and the case is still ongoing in Court, and he already let go of everything.
He also confirmed that the suspects are still in jail, as he gets calls from the court for appearance, but since he has moved on from that, he stops going to Court for the case.
On his drama with ex-BBNaija housemate Gifty, when asked what was going on and if he has feelings for her for all the drama, he said:
“I don’t have any feelings towards her…she is just a drama queen who seeks constant attention”.
On his alleged child with Gift, he said:
“I will do a paternity test when the time comes, as I have a recording of a phone conversation between her and my elder sister on the whole issue” he said.
“Also, some conversation she had with me, I have all and when the time comes I will reveal everything for the world to see”.
He also confirmed that he has two children and not one when Mamie congratulated him on the arrival of his child with BBnaija housemate Gifty.
He said he has one with Gifty and although she has been denying that he is not the father, he is 100% sure the child is his child.
“Gifty is just acting up and seeking media attention. He said Gifty is a drama queen and will do anything for attention”.
He said what actually happened was that Gifty and himself have been cohabitating for sometime now and even when they were doing that, waking up together and eating and doing things together, she will still deny him, all because he told her he was not ready for marriage yet.
He said Gifty is scared of being called a ‘Baby mama’, so all her drama has been due to that. he said.
When Manny asked him again on the Burna Boy issue and why Burna would call when he has already denied that he wasn’t involved in all the drama and if he wanted to push further for an investigation, he said:
“No…since Burna Boy is now doing well, I do not want people to start talking and I do not want to be the reason for someone’s downfall…Burna boy and himself are good”.
It had been reported that Mr. 2Kay was attacked by a gang on October 22, 2017 in his room at the Eko Hotel and Suites on Victoria Island after performing in the 2face’s ‘Buckwyld N Breathless’ concert held in the facility.
The assailants had disguised as room service officials to gain entry into the singer’s room.
They were reported to have beaten him up and dispossessed him of a wristwatch, gold jewellery, phones, among other valuables estimated at millions of naira, at gunpoint.
They were said to have tied him up and fled with their loot.
