American rapper, Curtis Jackson known better as 50cent has a few hours ago, put up a video on his social media page, burning everything Gucci in his closet, as he protests the Italian blackface sweater design.

50cent who since the outbreak of the story, and the eventual pulling down of the alleged blackface Gucci Sweater, has gone about stating how he plans to boycott the Italian designer, despite some big Hollywood blacks backing the brand.

Rapper like Soulja Boy who is known to go about with Gucci headband is also boycotting the brand mostly seen on black celebrities, especially rappers and singers alike.

50cent shared the video where he set fire on Gucci branded t-shirts, making good his initial threats of boycotting the designs.

The Power actor and co-producer, 50cent joined the debate over the popular brand after the brand released their balaclava black turtleneck, which can be pulled over the bottom half of the face to reveal large red lips encircling a cut out. Once it became apparent that the sweater distinctly resembles blackface, the Italian fashion house issued an apologetic statement and pulled the garment from their in-store and online inventory.
