Kim Kardashian West could in a matter of days, months or even years see a huge chunk of her hard earned money being used to settle one of the biggest lawsuit in Hollywood, as reports suggest that the most famous of the Kardashian sisters is being dragged by her alleged developer David Lirbrnsohn over her Kimoji App.
According to reports, Liebensohn in his statement said that he helped Kim build the Kimoji App, only to be cut out of the profits, and now he wants his own share of the profit made from the App, slamming a $100 million on Kim on citing breach of contact and fraud.
TMZ which broke the news a few hours ago, reports that Liebensohn was behind an app called CensorOut. The app helped bring his team to Kardashian’s attention. The developer claims that Kim agreed to cut their company in for 60 percent of Kimoji Apps back in 2014.
He said that he was left off of the trademark paperwork for the sake of expedience, but it was understood that the product was a joint venture (Kimoji Apps).
Liebensohn claims that Kim backed out of their deal in August of 2014, saying that one of Liebensohn’s partners shared her personal information. He adds that Kim attempted to get Liebensohn to back away from his lawsuit via a team of lawyers but he’s still coming for a nine-figure settlement.
While that might seem like an incredible amount, it’s worth remembering that the app was being downloaded 9,000 times a second on release day. That works out to a million dollars a minute. And that was just day one.
Kim has kept the Kimoji money rolling in with new packs of feminist emojis and branded offshoots like her Kimoji Hearts fragrance line, which netted her $10 million.
This is the time for Kris Jenner, who is her manager and one who enjoys this sort of controversies to step in and free her daughter once again from a wicked lawsuit.
