Aaron Ramsey has signed a mouthwatering  £400,000-a-week-wage deal with Juve, as the 28-year Old Wales International becomes the highest paid British.

Aaron Ramsey who refused to extend his contract at Arsenal, will join Juve on a four-year (until 2023) deal in the summer as a free agent, with Arsenal getting nothing from the Juve deal.

According to the report, Aaron Ramsey completed a two-part medical with Juve last month and will join the club on July 1 – bringing to an end 11 years at Arsenal.

After Juve confirmed he is now their player, Aaron Ramsey took to his social media accounts to show gratitude to Arsenal fans. He posted an emotional statement that reads:

‘I wanted to issue a personal statement for all the Arsenal fans who have been extremely loyal and supportive.

‘You welcomed me as a teenager and have been there for me through all the highs and lows I have encountered during my time at the club.

‘It is with a heavy heart that I leave after 11 incredible years in north London. Thank you.

‘I will continue to give the team 100 per cent and hope to finish the season strongly, before heading on to my next chapter in Turin.’

As a result of the registration of the player, Juventus will pay an additional cost of €3.7million (£3.24m), to be paid before July 10, 2019.

Ramsey will become only the third Welshman to pull on the Black & White shirt in the history of Juventus, following the great, John Charles and former European Golden Boot winner, Ian Rush.

Despite his impending exit, the Gunners’ No 8 has featured 30 times for them so far this season in all competitions – scoring three goals.

Overall the midfielder has played 361 times for Arsenal, scoring 62 times to date.

He was won three FA Cups during his time in north London
