The House of Representatives candidate for Modern Democratic Party (MDP) in the forthcoming elections, Bankole Wellington a few hours ago, went around Eti-Osa constituency in Lagos State, which is the constituency he hopes to represent at the end of the 2019 election, picking up his political billboards we assume were damaged by the heavy downpour of Wednesday morning.
Mr Bankole Wellington who previously complained about his political opponents destroying his billboards and taking down his posters so as to gain a cheap political advantage in the coming elections, only a few hours ago put up a short video of him picking up his giant billboards while saying no matter how hard they (his political opponents) tries to knock him down, he will dust himself, get up and go again…He is simply saying he will not be intimidated by anyone…
No matter how many times we are knocked down, we will pick ourselves (and our billboards) back up and keep going.
This is only the beginning.

Bankole Wellington who had had some not too serious a political challenge a few days ago, where he alleged that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) printed out the wrong logo for his party MDP and misspell his name, said all these will not spot him and his supporters from going ahead with the elections. He had put up this post complaining about it five days ago, where he said:
VERY URGENT!!! It turns out that logo that will show for MDP on the Election day ballot papers is wrong. We have tried every possible option to see if the ballot papers can be reprinted, but that is unfortunately not possible. So we move on.
No sense crying over spilt milk. The good news is WE ARE ON THE BALLOT. You will see “Modern Democratic party” on the ballot with this new logo… so PLEASE help us repost the logo everywhere. We are also reprinting as much campaign material as we can. We will not be deterred by any obstacle. We will not be discouraged. We will focus on the finish line and forge ahead. No weakness. No regrets.
