Popular Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha famously known as Basketmouth, on Tuesday, unveiled his first feature film, titled “The Exorcism of Alu” which he has been working on for over six years.
The film The Exorcism of Alu which is set for release in Cinemas across the country on the 15th of January 2019, will see the comedian taken on a new challenge just like his friend, Ayo Makun, and away from comedy and his TV series drama Flatmates.
Bright Okpocha shared a scary poster from the film on his social media page with this caption:
“For 6yrs I’ve been working on my very first feature film, my most challenging project.
“I kept it on the low because everyone I told doubted my ability to pull it off.
“Today, I present to you……The Exorcism of Alu, a horror/thriller movie. Brace yourselves for this one.”
He however did not give details of the cast and crew of the anticipated film.
Bright Okpocha won the National Comedy Award and the awards for Best Stand-up Comedian of the Year in 2005 and 2006 respectively, having conquered the stand-up comedy world.
