Teni is celebrating her 26th birthday today, a day after shutting down the city of Ibadan in a musical concert, and to mark her special day, she took to her social media page to share an epic throwback photo of herself dating back her childhood days, tagging it as ‘Minister of Enjoyment’.
Born Teniola Apata on this day December 23, 1992, Teni or Teni Makanaki like she is fondly called, is a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and many more, as since her debut song, she has gained more fans than some musicians who have been in the game for decades before her, due to her originality, but most importantly her relatable lyric…which are funny too…
Teni is the younger sister to Niniola the Maradona crooner, who also is a household name in Africa, who like Teni, also came in to the music Industry, took everyone by surprise, and now, she owns her space and her style (mostly house music) and she is widely accepted in Africa and beyond…clearly the Apata girls are not here to play…
She is a graduate of American InterContinental University where she bagged a degree in Business Administration, and since her debut song, she has so far churned out songs such as:
Fargin, Wait, Askamaya, Lagos, Amen, Pareke, Fake Jersey, Case, Shake Am, and Pray and other collaborations with other musicians.
…from us, happy birthday…
