This woman just cannot stop making us, Nigerians and Africans proud, as the media Mogul known as Mosunmola Abudu a.k.a Mo Abudu bags yet another international appointment, as she is elected as the new director of International Academy of Television, Arts and Sciences, which is the Academy Awards.
According to Modunmola Abudu the body which she has been elected as their director, are in charge of staging and organizing the world famous International Emmys awards. She captioned the post with these words:
“I am excited to announce that I have been elected director of International Academy of Television, Arts & Sciences, the organization responsible for staging the world famous International Emmy Awards. I am pleased about this appointment because it will be an enabler for the recognition of our work in TV and film across the globe. And I mean “Our” as in our work from Nigeria.
As a member of the board, I join a select group of about 100 Directors who are international executives from leading channels, production and distribution companies. I am expected to attend board & members meetings 3 or 4 times a year. It’s time to change the narrative and get our stories told! #AwesomeGod “
It is also not a surprise, to hear that she has been elevated from a board member to director of world most respected award body, as she has worked tirelessly both home and abroad, to see that things are done the right way when it comes to production and other television related activities, especially in the third largest movie industry in the world, Nollywood.
This new appointment is huge, and like she rightly said, this will open a gate of opportunities for Nigerian and African producers to promote their work for the world to see…and trust madam Abudu, she will not compromise on quality, and the right standard, irrespective of where you are coming from…
