Many Nigerian celebrities and colleagues are offering their condolences following the death of popular OAP Tosyn Bucknor, who died on Monday night.
Tosyn Bucknor was said to have been found dead by her husband in their home after he returned from work on Monday night. She was just 37. Tosyn Bucknor was loved by everyone and was married in 2015 to her French partner. Although the cause of her death is yet to be made public, she was said to be a Sickle Cell Anemia patient.
Since the sad news, the likes of Toke Makinwa, Falz, Toolz, and Yemi Alade, and others have expressed their sadness on the demise of Tosyn Bucknor. See some of the messages:
Singer turned politician, Mr. Banky Wellington taking to his page, expressed his sadness, saying:
“I always described Tosyn as “one of my favourite people on earth”, because it was true. I really, truly loved her. She was so full of life and incredible, positive energy… I believe she’s resting in a better place, but I’m hurting bad because I wasn’t ready to say goodbye. This world needs more people like her. I’m gonna miss her so much. So much… it’s hurting me in my soul. I pray for her husband, Sister, family and friends. May God give the kind of strength snd comfort only He can provide.
May we make the most of every day we are blessed to experience. That’s what she did. Today I’m completely heartbroken that I lost one of my favourite people, but I’m so grateful that I got to know her at all. I will miss her forever”
Singer, Yemi Alade who put up a photo of the late OAP, said:
“TOSYN…i am yet to meet anyone like you…You ALWAYS GAVE ME JOY .This world never deserved you,you are in a better place.

A colleague and also a popular OAP, Toolz taking to her page, said:
“Such horrible, horrible news. Don’t even know what to say.
It feels so unreal saying #RIPTosyn ??????
May God comfort and strengthen your husband and family during this sad period!”
Another celebrity, and close friend, Toke Makinwa expressed her shock to the sad news, and wrote his on her page:
“This one hit so close to home ❤️ I met you in 1999, we started our radio careers at the same time and I had to leave for a while but you forged ahead and became this huge superstar. I would listen to you on my way to work in the bank and think of how fun radio is and I got the courage to come back. I was blessed to work with you on 3livechicks and boyyyyy have we had some good times T, thank you for the fun memories. Thank you for all of it. We would break in to songs filming, you loved soda so much I’ll yell at you for drinking it. We butt heads a lot too but it was all love. I celebrate you today Tosyn, you lived, you loved and you fought hard ❤️ We love you but God needs you home, resting, cracking him up and telling him about all of us.
