Liverpool and Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah was honoured with a Statue for his achievement not only for his club Liverpool, but also for country, and rather than appreciate the effort put into the art, fans are mocking the beautiful piece.
The statue is even being compared to that of Cristiano Ronaldo, which had similar defects in terms of resemblance, and had to be redone for something close to the Portuguese star. We do not know if similar will be done by the Egyptian authorities on Salah’s Statue, but see some of the comment so far:
What is it with footballers and statues? Ronaldo’s head looked more like Niall Quinn. And now the Mo Salah statue to be installed in Sharm El Sheikh looks more like Marv from Home Alone than Salah.
