Anenih: South-South Governors commiserate with the family

The Governors from the South-South region have paid a condolence visit to the family of late Chief Tony Anenih, who died over the weekend at an Abuja Hospital, and was age, 85.

The South-South Governors of Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Delta and Bayelsa States, were led by Governor Seriake Dickson, who had earlier in his personal condolence message described the former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a political icon, a nationalist and a great leader of men.
The Governors met with the children of late Tony Anenih where they prayed for the family, asking God to continue to grant the late Chief eternal rest.

Governor Seriake Dickson put up some photos of their visit with this caption:

“I lead my brother Governors, of the South-South Region to condole with Anenih family, after our meeting in Abuja. May God continue to grant eternal rest to our father. Amen!”

Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on his side, said:

“I and other South-South PDP Governors today, paid a condolence visit to the family of the former Chairman Board of Trustees of our great party the PDP, Late Chief Tony Anenih (CFR) this afternoon in Abuja.”
