APC Governorship primaries in Lagos, Enugu Adamawa postponed

APC Governorship primaries in Lagos, Enugu, and Adamawa States have been postponed to a yet a new dates by the All Progressives Congress (APC) National leadership.

This announcement is coming after some of the States like Lagos for example, had earlier picked today Monday October 1st 2018 as the date for the Lagos State Governorship primaries, as Governor Ambode and his godfather Bola Tinubu prepares for a showdown in Lagos.

The dates for the Enugu and Adamawa are also being moved to a new dates and this has been what has characterized the APC governorship primaries across the country.

In a statement released a few hours ago by the Acting Publicity Secretary of the APC Mr. Yekini Nabena, no reasons were given as to why the APC governorship primaries were being moved to a new dates, but if there is anything, most APC states have adopted a more democratic approach, which is the direct primaries.

The statement by the APC Acting Publicity Secretary, Mr. Yekini Nabena said:

APC Postpone Lagos, Enugu, Adamawa Governorship Primaries, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rescheduled governorship primaries in the Lagos, Enugu and Adamawa states.

The mode of primaries for Enugu and Adamawa states has also been changed from INDIRECT to DIRECT Primaries.

Lagos Governorship Primaries – Tuesday, October 2, 2018

Enugu and Adamawa Direct governorship Primaries –

Thursday, October 4, 2018.

APC Governorship primaries in Lagos, Enugu and Adamawa postponed

APC are also asking Nigerians to focus on other states as everybody are watching and waiting for the primaries in Lagos state forgetting that there are other States especially the South Eastern States where APc governorship primaries will be taking place this week.

Mr. Yekini Nabena also warned that Nigerians are responsible for who becomes their states Governors and it is their responsibility to make sure that the right and capable person wins as the party will not be held responsible should incase the wrong candidates wins.
