Chief Femi Fani-Kayode a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) now look set to honour the invitation by the Nigerian Police, days after.

Chief Femi Fani-Kayode who made this known via his social media page, said he is now ready to meet with the Nigerian Police force at their Headquarters in Abuja at 12.000 noon today [Tuesday) 4th September 2018.

Taking to his social media a few hours ago, said he was going to see the Police, to answer questions on his ‘Essays’. He said:

“I will report to the Inspector General of Police’s office at Force Headquarters in Abuja at 12.00 noon today in response to the invitation that they sent to me last week. The invitation indicated that they want to question me about one of my essays. The Lord is with us!”

Chief Femi Fani-Kayode now set to honour Police invitation

The Nigerian Police a few weeks ago, invited Chief Femi Fani-Kayode for questioning over some alleged inciting statement he made, and since his invitation, both Cheif Femi Fani-Kayode and his party PDP have condemned the invitation, calling it a political witch hunt by the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration, and his political party of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

They called on the President to focus on urgent matters at hand, rather than chasing and victimizing alleged political enemies.

Chief Femi Fani-Kayode without a doubt is a well known critic of the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration and the ruling party, APC. He has always voiced his opinion on every issue against the government, especially on the alleged disappearance of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kalu and his followers.

The latest one that seems to have caught the attention of the Nigerian Police, is the arrest and jailing of some women allegedly from Abia State protesting to know the whereabouts of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kalu after he allegedly jumped bail.
Chief Femi Fani-Kayode’s views or comments on that incident and who knows, on many others has led to him being invited by the Police, and he will not be the first top-ranked PDP members that have been invited by the Police in the last few weeks, over one allegation or another.
We wait to see how things go, as we are loving all the political drama going on as the 2019 elections draws near.
